Priority Pass: Chef Geoff at Washington Dulles (IAD)

Priority Pass added Cheff Geoff to the network last year. Besides Chef Geoff, some other Priority Pass lounges at Washington Dulles (IAD) include Turkish Airlines Lounge, British Airways Galleries Lounge, Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse, Sleepbox, and Air France – KLM Lounge.

Chef Geoff is located on Concourse C, where most United flights depart. The restaurant opens daily from 6 AM to 10 PM. Priority Pass memberships issued by most Credit Card issues are entitled to receive $28 food credit. If you invite two additional guests, each person will receive $28 credit, as well. One thing to remember is that membership issued by American Express no longer received the credit.

I got to the airport early before my flight to São Paulo, so I stopped by to review the restaurant. I let the hostess know that I will be using my Priority Pass. After I was seated, he swiped my Priority Pass card and gave me a receipt. He advised me to hand the receipt to the waitress when paying.

To the right, there is a bar area and a tv screen. On the left side, there are dining tables and booths.

The menu is not very big, but it has enough selections for you to choose from.

A friend of mine recommended Honey Sriracha Cauliflower, so that’s what I ordered for the appetizer. For the main, I had Baja Fish Taco.

It didn’t take very long for the order to come. The appetizer was excellent and spicy.

The fish taco was ok. The fish was heavily battered, just like fish and chips. I’m not a big fan of the creamy sauce they have on top. But it wasn’t bad.

I’ve actually been here twice. The first time I dined here I had Wasabi Crusted Salmon, which was ok as well. So next time, I’m going to try something more generic, like hamburger or salad.

Conclusion

Overall the food was good, but nothing spectacular. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. Please be mindful that the $28 food credit does not include gratuity. So please tip.

Priority Pass has been adding significant value to its membership. There are now six lounges (including restaurant and micro-hotel) that you can access with Priority Pass.
