If you are looking for a trip Southeast Asia: Bankok (BKK) and Ho Chi Minh City (SGN), right now, there are reasonable business class fares on Turkish Airlines until September 2020 (end of schedule). I see available departure dates on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday. The catch is that you need to get to Montreal to catch this flight.
Fare: Starting at $2200s (BKK) and $2300s (SGN)
Cabin: Business Class
Airlines: Turkish Airlines
Dates: Sunday, Tuesday (mostly), and Friday departures until September 2020.
How Good is Turkish Airlines?
I’ve flown Tukish Airlines many times. They are execellent. Here are the flights I reviewed in the past:
- Turkish Business Class A321 Cairo – Istanbul
- Turkish Business Class 787-9 Istanbul – Denpasar (Inaugural)
- Turkish Business Class 787-9 Denpasar – Istanbul
- Turkish Business Class A321neo Istanbul – Cairo
How to Find
You can search on Google Flights. Just enter the origin Montreal (YUL) and the destinations Bangkok (CDG), Ho Chi Minh City (SGN). You should be able to see good options. Alternatively, you can also just type Asia as the destination and it will open up a map view.

Free Hotel Transit Hotel in Istabul
Remember, Turkish Airlines offers free of charge accommodation/hotel room to qualified passengers flying from outside Turkey transiting in Istanbul Airport and continuing to their onward (third) country beyond Turkey. The terms and conditions can be found directly from Turkish Airlines Website.
Free Istanbul City Tour
Additionally, passengers who have a connecting international flight in Istanbul with a layover between 6-24 hours can participate in free Touristanbul service to discover Istanbul. Details can be found here.
The fares are not for everyone; especially, you will need to buy a positioning flight from the U.S. to Montreal. But low $2200s fares are tough to beat, considering how far the route is. Typically, you can find economy class fares for less than $1000. But if you want to splurge a bit, I think these are pretty decent fares.
If you want to take advantage of these fares, make sure to add a stopover. You can use either multi-city feature on Google Maps, of you can do it on the Turkish Airlines website directly. If you any further questions, please feel free to ask me.
