The Lounge
Upon entrance, I was welcomed by a friendly agent who scanned my boarding pass. Another agent then escorted me into the lounge.
Qantas International First Lounge Singapore – Sitting Area
The main area is essentially an elongated rectangle, consisting of several sections. The front section consists of a few black leather chairs, sofas, tables, a big screen mounted on the wall, and a row of pods that sort of mimic a herringbone seat configuration on an airplane.

Similarly, the next section has more sitting areas with similar styles of chairs and sofas.

The Bar
Further down the hallway, there is a bar staffed by a bartender.

A self-serve wine and champagne station is also available.

On the opposite side, there is a snack bar and refrigerated beverages like sodas and juices.

Dining
One of the highlights of most Qantas lounges is the dining experience. The dining room at this particular lounge is spacious, with a few dozens of tables and booths.

According to Qantas, the lounge features Qantas First signature dishes showcasing local ingredients and embracing Singaporean culture.

Since I had not had much food, I decided to have dinner first before I showered.
The menu reads as follows:

I started with a glass of Taittinger Prestige Rosé and coconut kombucha.

For appetizers, I ordered the famous salt and pepper squid with green chili dipping sauce and aioli. The server explained that the dish is prepared different compared to other Qantas lounges because it’s tailored according to the local taste and delicacy. He said the flour used in Singapore tends to be more crispy.

I also ordered the tea smoked duck breast with pickled cabbage and Chinese mustard.

Fast forward for a minute, on my subsequent visit a week later, I also tried the grilled skate in browned sambal butter with capers and calamansi.

All were excellent.
For the main course, I ordered grilled barramundi with charred lettuce, croutons and caper, anchovy, and parsley butter.

It was delicious! The fish was flaky and flavorful.
To finish, I had coconut and mango sorbet with palm sugar syrup and toasted coconut flakes.
At first, I was skeptical because I’m not a fan of sorbet. In my book, sorbet is something acidic and tangy, and a frozen dessert should be creamy and sweet!

But I was wrong. The coconut sorbet was yummy! It was not too heavy, and the palm sugar gives a perfect balance to the taste. It was definitely a dessert with Southeast Asian flare.

Overall, the dining experience was flawless. The meal I had that evening was excellent, and what impressed me the most was the service. The staff was so professional, caring, and friendly. Hands down the best service of all Qantas first-class lounges I’ve ever visited.
Shower Suite
I still had a few hours before my Melbourne-bound flight. Since I got so sweaty earlier when checking out the Jewell, I decided to take a shower.
Qantas International First Lounge Singapore – Shower Suites
The shower suite has pretty decent square footage, though it’s not massive. What’s cool about it is the skylight roof that simulates day and night time, just like the dimmable windows on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

Conclusion
All in all, Qantas International First Lounge in Singapore is by far the best in terms of service. The entire staff members throughout the lounge were so professional, charming, and hospitable — it was flawless.
The food was also top-notch. It truly takes the first-class dining experience to the next level. I can say this lounge is better than Qantas’ flagship lounge in Sydney and certainly better than the one in Los Angeles.
I highly recommend you visit and enjoy the first-class treatment here at Qantas International First Lounge, Singapore.
