Last weekend’s Sunday Brunch Episode talked about the flight I took from Kuala Lumpur to Sydney on Malaysia Airlines. This weekend, I decided to write the reversed route on my return journey.
Before my flight, I spent a quality time at the famous Qantas First Class Lounge in Sydney. And of course, I had the famous salt and pepper squid! 😉
While it was another red-eye flight, I wouldn’t complain as I got to pick the throne business class seat, which offers more storage space and privacy.
A few days before the flight, I pre-ordered my meal through a service provided for all business class passengers called Chef-On-Call.
To start, I had a smoked salmon appetizer.
For the main course, I had sea bass and salmon dish.
It was one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had on the plane. It was very moist, flaky, and flavorful.
To finish, I had salted caramel ice cream and mango cake.
Thoughts
Malaysia Airlines never disappoints. Like any other flights I took with them, the level of service has always been above and beyond. I was pleased with the on-board food offerings as well. It was one of the best fish I had on any flight. I hope one day we can all return to the sky and enjoy it once again!
